STORE TERMS - SHIPPING, RETURNS, RETURN EXCEPTIONS, REFUNDS:

SHIPPING POLICIES:

Shipping to and from Coin Mercantile, Inc. is at the customer's expense and varies according to weight, size, shipping type and location. All items will be shipped insured.  During certain promotional periods customer's may be offered a choice of free shipping.  If the free shipping option is available and selected, the choice of carrier and delivery time will be at the sole discretion of Coin Mercantile Inc.  This free shipping offer ONLY applies to retail orders.  Please note; the Free Shipping option may NOT be used in conjunction with a discount coupon.  We will ship worldwide, subject to any and all applicable customs requirements (which may include the need for customers to provide additional information). All orders must be paid for in advance before shipment.

Duties & Value-Added Taxes (VAT):  Coin Mercantile Inc. does Not charge its customers duties or value-added taxes (VAT).  Duties and VAT, if applicable, may be assessed by your destination country.  Customer is responsible for all applicable Duties and VAT when/as/if charged and required by customer’s individual destination countries. Returns are NOT accepted for non-payment of Duties and VAT by customer to destination country’s applicable government authorities. Shipping Times: We ship most orders within 1-2 business days after payment is received and processed, but shipping times may vary due to heavy volume. Upon checkout on the website, customers have the option to select shipment to be sent either USPS (United States Postal Service), International Air or Registered Mail or UPS (United Parcel Service). Delivery times will vary greatly depending on final package destination.  Pre-Order Items will ship within 2 days of product receipt to our facility. Please see individual posting for Pre-Order arrival dates. Expected Arrival Date refers to the date we expect the product to arrive at our facility.

Signature Requirements For Delivery:  For your protection,  if the value of the contents of your order is over $1,000 we require a signature for delivery regardless of any waivers you have from UPS, FedEx® or other private express courier you have selected for delivery of your order.  If the value of the contents of your order is under $1,000 and shipped via overnight or other Priority shipping method, the express courier may still require a signature . These requirements are for your protection. If you would like to arrange delivery to the express courier location in your area, as opposed to your home or office, please call one of our customer service agents at 866.217.8458.

Insurance:  ALL orders shipped within the United States are automatically Fully Insured for the full value of their contents with no additional cost to the customer.  For International orders, insurance is Not automatic or included.  However, we highly recommend a shipping method that provides your international shipment with 100% insurance for the full value of its contents.  For fully insured international orders, the customer must select a shipping method that provides for full insurance coverage for their order.  For international shipping that utilizes the USPS (U.S. Postal Service) in conjunction with the foreign mail stream (the post service of your destination country) for international shipping and delivery of your package, the insurance limits, if any are available, will vary, country by country.   Each individual destination country has predetermined legal insurance limits, which are generally much lower than the legal limits of shipping insurance in the U.S. for domestic shipping within the U.S. under the purview of the USPS.  Each individual destination country’s predetermined legal insurance limits are set in place by local governing authorities and prohibit us from insuring your package beyond the value of your destination country’s post service insurance limits.  You the purchaser are solely and unilaterally responsible (Coin Mercantile Inc. is NOT Responsible) to check with your destination country’s post service for its predetermined maximum shipping insurance limits, which often change, in order to ensure that your package will be insured for the full value of its contents.  Therefore, for International orders, if you choose to ship your order via U.S. Postal Service, we highly recommend that you purchase private insurance from our web site, when/as/if available during the check out process or select a method of shipping by UPS or Fed Ex to ensure adequate insurance coverage for the full value of the contents of your package; to avoid risk of loss where your country’s post service has maximum shipping insurance limits which fall below the full value of the contents of your package.

If you have fully insured your shipment and believe a shipment to be lost, please wait for the appropriate delivery time to expire, then e-mail a claim to us stating your address and name, item(s) lost and price paid. We will then initiate a claim. Please note: It is a felony to file a false claim for something which you have already received.  If you have NOT fully insured your shipment, please notify us and we will do our best to assist you in recovering your package, but cannot make any guarantees regarding successful recovery.  Coin Mercantile Inc. is NOT responsible, will NOT be liable and will NOT bear the economic loss of your package if you choose a shipping method which causes your package to be un-insured or under-insured.

Our Shipping (freight) charges Includes shipping and handling and cover all associated costs and services including labor, materials, packaging, delivery to transit location, courier or private carrier and order processing costs.

REFUNDS AND RETURN POLICY:
 
Returns: Coin Mercantile is dedicated to customer satisfaction. All items are warranted in the condition as represented on our website unless otherwise described. Customers will have 7 calendar days to return any product, with the exception of items listed below under the “RETURN EXCEPTION” paragraph of this section.

Refunds and Returns:  For returns, we have a 7 calendar day money back guarantee so if you are not satisfied with a coin or coins you have purchased from us for any reason, you may return the coin or product to us within 7 calendar days of receipt of the item(s) and as long as it is in its original new condition, with all original packaging and includes the certificate of authenticity (COA), if issued, in undamaged condition, we will provide you with a full refund for the coin(s) or product(s); with the exception of the products listed below under the “RETURN EXCEPTION” paragraph of this section as described below.  If multiple quantities of an item are purchased, and you wish to make a return, you may be required to return all of the items (the entire quantity) of that item that you purchased and was shipped to you. We have established this policy to prevent customers from ordering 10 of one item, picking their favorite sub-set of such items from those 10 purchased (so that they can certify or grade them or do otherwise) and then returning the remaining pieces. Our policy prevents someone from leveraging our stock for the sole purpose of obtaining the "best of the best" to the disadvantage of our other loyal and appreciated customers. If you did purchase multiple quantities of a particular item and desire to make a return, please contact us first for our permission and instructions.  If products are returned to us after this 7 calendar day period of time, we will generally not accept such return.  We generally do not provide refunds for shipping and handling unless the product you have received arrived damaged or was the incorrect product.  Returned products must be well packed for shipping in order to prevent damage upon return to us, as we will not accept returns that are damaged from return shipment.  Damaged return shipments will Not Receive A Refund.

Return Exception:  For Gold, Platinum and Palladium coins, we will Not Accept Returns for undamaged Gold, Platinum and Palladium coins or bullion or bullion-related products, whose weight equals or exceeds one half ounce (1/2 oz), without calling us first for our explicit permission, as the intrinsic value of the underlying precious metal for such coins is fluctuating significantly in real-time, globally.  We will not accept returns of multiple quantities of 1 item purchased, unless there is damage; for the reasons described above in the previous paragraph.  If you want to return such a coin or coins, Please CALL us first to inquire about our possible acceptance.  We will Not Accept Returns for the following beyond our 7 calendar day money back guarantee: shipment delays or transit delays resulting from express couriers, the U.S. Postal System (USPS), foreign mail streams, the U.S. government, U.S. or foreign national holidays, inclement weather or delays in the clearing of funds by financial institutions.

Other conditions that apply:

  • Shipping and handling is NOT refundable.
  • Returns for third-party graded items, or sealed product due to quality concerns must be substantiated.
  • Any refunds made will be credited in the same payment manner and currency as the original purchase (except that cheques will be issued in place of Money Orders and Bank Drafts).
  • We strongly suggest that you ship items back to us via insured mail
  • All returns must be in original, resalable condition with all original packaging
  • No returns will be accepted on items removed from holders or capsules, or items missing original packaging or certificates and not in original condition
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for refund
